Does anyone have any suggestions on refurbishing a 1989 Toyota van/wagon?
For a Toyota radiator look at Champion Toyota Parts – Toyota World, Genuine Toyota Parts, TRD Supercharger, Toyota Venza Parts, Toyota Parts, Toyota Accessories, Discounts on Toyota Parts and see if they don’t have an all-metal replacement radiator. Factory Toyota radiators, the ones with the plastic tanks, are uber-expensive and as Chief notes are not re-corable as a practical matter. You need to be using the (usually red-colored) Toyota factory antifreeze and distilled water, with a new radiator and this in place you should have the cooling issues anyway covered.
