Does anyone have experience with cottonwood trees, and river birch trees?
As trees go, cottonwoods grow very fast. They also grow very large and have a nasty habit of falling over. The root structure of any tree can cause damage to your home, but because of the nature of cottonwoods they tend to do it faster. They are beautiful trees, but I wouldn’t plant one close to my house.
