Speaking as tow company, and at one time a provider, avoid them! You get what you pay for. Most of the providers I know have joined me in dropping them. This goes through the same company that provides you with insurance on your cell phone if you’ve ever had to deal with that. Example: I had a customer less than a mile from me who called for help. Since no one locally does coverage for them, they gave an estimated time of arrival of 3 hours. This was a simple unlock. When they finally called me, I was there in less than 10 minutes. They called the roadside assitence number to cancel the request, and asked about getting their money back since they paid me in cash. Guess what they were told? “We can’t do that, we found you service and you refused it.” Sound like good customer care to you? Also, last time I went to upgrade my phone, they told me I *had* to accept the roadside program, free, for one month, and then I could cancel it. I told them in that case, I would change carriers.
