Oh fun! Can I come? I am a history teacher, I cannot help it. Ok ideas: fruit baskets came to mind first but 1700’s and Charleston: crowns for King Charles (the town was named after him); they had to fortify it because it was raided a lot…so maybe a round rock castle-like pot to hold flowers etc; it was a port so you could you ships; they are known for different historic churches so little church steeples (hobby lobby has these); along with the Bostonians they too confiscated tea in the protest…so you could do something with that. Hope this helps you and gives you ideas! Edit: if it is based on the founding around Easter time I would either go with the King Charles theme or the old Church theme then.
