Does anyone in the band have a bad temper like Christian Bale?
You know, our drummer, I’ll say, is somebody you do NOT want to mess with. He’s small, but he’s built like an anvil. I mean I’ve wrestled with this guy, and it is literally like trying to move a big brick house—it’s absurd. The guy exercises constantly. We’d probably have the new record done if he didn’t ride his bike like 300 miles a week. [Laughs] I mean, it’s insane. This guy, there are stories he would not want me to tell of him putting his hands on people and kicking the ass of Reverend Hor—eh, I better not tell that story. I guess it’s convenient to have someone in the band like that, especially if you want to get paid at the end of the night. Yeah. Absolutely. Or if somebody is messing with you. We were in like punk bands back in the day. There were some ugly situations, and I’m glad he was around.
