If you are wanting an answer that does not include medication, it would consist of a change in diet , staying away from foods that are spicy or fatty. If I were you I would do some Internet research on acid reflux and heartburn. Acid reflux can cause damage to your esophagus over time resulting in serious medical problems. If the problem persists, you need to see your MD.
