Does anyone know a great method for keeping a 2 year old boy in his own toddler bed?
First keep making a big deal about him growing up and moving into a “big boy bed”. Then try putting a pillow or stuffed animal with your scent on it in bed with him. You will have to keep putting him back in his bed and it may take more than a week. Remain calm and patient when he comes into your bed, give him a hug and tell him that his big boy bed misses him and cuddle him and love on him but take him back to his bed, eventually he will stay in his bed longer. Stay patient, it will happen.
Get him one of these night lights that throw shapes onto the walls and ceilings, you must keep putting him back in his own bed, and when he stays in his bed all night make a fuss of him in the morning about being a big boy and sleeping in his own bed all night, it will take time be patient and dont take the easy option
