Does anyone know anything about condensation on the inside of double glazing windows?
After reading the replies. I have a remody that you could use if you can spare the time. Less expensive and cost effecticve… You will need to remove the window that has been affected and split the glass from the seals, prefurbaly a sharp knife or stanly blade type…taking care not to slip and make a right mess. Visit a double glazing firm and purchase the new beading and beads and sealant mix. Simply clean the windows inside and out an Alcohol type fluid is best to clean the old sealant from the glass and scraper then any versitile window cleaner.Replace the beading and re-seal the window using the ruber sealant and tape round the edges with a good material type tape.
this does indeed indicate that the seal is gone, wait for a good day and then heat the glass with a hairdryer, once the glass reached ambient room temperature the condensation will evaporate then replace all the seals around the window Some units are indeed “blown” as Paul says when you see evidence of heavy misting between the glass and unfortunately must be replaced.
