Does anyone know how bright shade A1 tooth crowns are?
A1 is the brightest standard/traditional shade. With the teeth-whitening craze, there are now some whiter “bleach” shade guides that we have. This is a hard one to describe, because more goes into the color than just the shade. Translucency/opacity also plays a role. This can also change depending on the type of material used. In general, I like the results with A1. I think that going whiter than A1 often looks fake, whereas A1 usually still looks natural. But again, there are a number of factors involved. Other factors include the depth of the preparations, the color of your face, and whether you are doing the top/bottom teeth or just the top. The think the best way to predict is to see what the shade tab looks like in your mouth compared to your skin and other teeth. Some adjustments can also be made at cementation by using various colors of cements.
