The power lock actuator in the door that’s not locking is bad and needs to be replaced. You can often find perfectly good Focus lock actuators in junkyards for a fraction of the price of a new replacement part, but a new replacement part is fine too if you want to spend the extra money. To replace the bad actuator you must remove the interior door panel to access the inside of the door where the actuator box is located. Next, remove the 3 (I’m pretty sure it’s 3) big Torx screws from where the door latches to the car (the actuator is “attached” to and is part of the door latch) From there, remove the Torx screws that secure the lock actuator and exterior door handle support and then unplug the old actuator from the wire harness attached once you get everything loose. Disconnect the exterior door handle rods and interior door handle cable from the bad actuator and hook them up to the new actuator. Reassemble the door in reverse order and you should be good to go.
