Does anyone know if Lexapro causes weight gain or if it can make weight loss difficult?

While I have never been on prescription medication, a couple of my friends have and a member of my family. She took Lexapro and to be honest she did gain some weight. I have heard Lexapro is not as bad as some of the others, but many of those types of medication do cause weight gain. However, it is a small price to pay if the medication helps someone with their emotional struggles they are going through. Good luck to you!  more
