lining paper is the cheapest option,but doesnt always cover bumps,and its very time comsuming,as you dont hang it vertical(ceiling to floor) ,you have to put it on horizontal(sideways),but also leave a 2cm gap between eack sheet as the paper stretches as its drying.but if the wall isn’t too bad i’d reccommend it only if you’ve got patience and somebody to help.

lining paper is great,& cheap. if you have bad wall with lumps or any imperfections they can show through lining paper,or try lining it across the wall first,then downwards,buy a thick lining paper as well.

lining paper and still show up the bumps if you have really bad walls.
