The other two answers aren’t strictly true. Parcel Force is part of the Royal Mail Group. It is just their parcel courier division. Many Parcel Force staff are members of the CWU – the postal worker’s union, so strike action CAN involve Parcel Force. Even if Parcel Force staff aren’t striking, the Royal Mail network and Parcel Force network aren’t entirely separate, meaning there may be some delays. Quite often items posted through Parcel Force at Post Offices get picked up by Royal Mail postmen who take them to the relevant depots. I believe that they still share the same facilities for sending and recieving items to and from overseas. With a bit of luck, it won’t affect you, but I just thought I’d add a bit more information for you, just in case your item is held up.
