Does anyone know of any cheap home internet providers that don require a landline?
You might have cable available but it won’t be cheap. You can access the Internet via the mobile phone network but that is even more expensive. The other option is sharing a connection with a neighbour. This could be done with a cable, possibly, or by wireless. If you have a friend with a wireless enabled laptop you can see if there are any wireless routers near you. Then find out who they are, by knocking on doors, and ask if you can share their connection. They may be willing to allow you to use it, for a small fee.
