I’ve found two sites for natural sunscreen www.gocaribbeanblue.com and www.herbalhealer.com/natskin.html But you can find some good sunscreen in your kitchen garden as well. 1. Cucumber is a very good moisturizer and helps in preventing scaling and chipping of skin. Cucumber also contains alkaloids, which regulates the production of dead skin. Cucumber is also a good sunscreen preventing sunburns and hyper-pigmentation of the skin. Cucumber also has potent anti- fungal and antibacterial properties. Cucumber juice can be used for chapping and scaling of skin and in other skin ailments like Kawasaki Disease. 2. Aloe Vera is a very effective sunscreen and an excellent moisturizer. Aloe Vera cream should be applied liberally over the affected part three times daily. Symptoms like burning, pruritis and pallor are cured in 2 to 3 months.

I have lupus too and am extremely photosensitive do to high anti-ro antibodies. I don’t have a “chemical free” sunscreen for you but I can recommend one that was created for people who have Lupus, PMLE, etc. It is the best on the market and offers the highest range of UVA protection as well as UVB. It is not available in the US yet but you can buy it overseas or from Canada. It is made by La Roche-Posay, called Anthelios 60 XL. They also make one specifically for the sun intolerant face. Hope that helps you out! Please contact me if you have any questions about it (or anything else) Namaste!
