Camelot is the mythical city built by King Arthur. Avalon is the mythical island where the priestesses who worshipped the goddess lived. King Arthur is said to be buried on this mythical isle. It was supposed to be located on the other side of Glastonbury. When the Christians came to Britain and the monks built the monastery at Glastonbury, the world of Avalon retreated in the mists and only the priestesses had the power to part the mists and travel between the worlds of Avalon and Glastonbury.
