the highest underwater mountain is mauna kea(in hawaii islands,usa) it stands at 10,203 m(1355m higher than mt.everest)when measued from its base to peak.even above the land it is 4207m tall. let me share with u another interesting fact– the tallest mountain when measured from the centre of the earth is not any of these,but it is mt.chimborazo(in ecuador)bcoz it is situated almost on the equator.it measures about 10948m from the earth’s centre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
