Does anyone know the symtoms of anorexia or people who are anemic?
I was anorexic when I was 16, and it’s a horrible, lonely thing to go through. She has used some of the excuses I used, such as she “forgot” lunch – but she really could have forgotten lunch. If she wasn’t dangerously thin, it may have just been a phase, but if she went down to below 5 stone, or even 6 stone, depending on age and height, then she was probably going through an eating disorder. My mum is anemic, and she didn’t lose any weight, but again, this can depend on person to person. If she is on injections, it wasn’t anorexia. Anorexia is a mental illness – as I know – and cannot be treated with injections or drugs. It takes willpower and help from family and friends to over come something so dreadful. The thinnest I was was 5 stone 6 pounds – I was slowly killing myself. If you sense your friend is anoreixc, try to help her. Don’t try to get her to admit she has this eating disorder though – people who suffer from it never admit they have it until it’s almost too late. Perhaps g
