Broken cameras get listed on eBay but you won't get much for it. Getting a lens fault fixed professionally would cost nearly as much as buying an equivalent camera new. DIY repair of the lens assembly is too risky for people to chance on a camera they've paid significant money for. Somebody might want a screen because those get damaged quite frequently. On eBay you never know what might happen. If you have a picture showing your LCD clearly still working, then paying $40 for yours would look better than paying $100 or more for a screen replacement. That's assuming the Exilim isn't too impossible for competent DIY repair. Ebay pictures taken with a Nikon SLR should look pretty impressive.  more
