Breathing in WHILE pulling the trigger down is a common misconception. You DO NOT have to do both at at the same time. Hold the Advair in your right hand with the little thumb to the left. Use your left thumb to open the disk. Use your left thumb to **** the trigger. Gently blow out all your air. Put the disk in your mouth and slowly steadily inhale to full lung capacity. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds. Gently relax and let your air out. Then RINSE YOUR MOUTH OUT. This is very important. Do not do it again. You probably got the dose. You should taste and feel a powder in your mouth.
