Does anyone use their sewing machine for paper craft projects?

I sew paper projects on my machines – I even used my serger a time or two! But I make sure that I use a needle that I won’t use on anything else and I keep canned air on hand to blow out all the “lint” left by the paper. It’s probably not the greatest thing to do but I love doing it! I own a quilt & scrapbook shop and always break the rules whenever possible! I chalk it up to “discovery.” I have better luck with more than one layer so you might try a tear away stabilizer if you need to sew on only one layer of paper. I hope this helps!
