Yes. According to PETA, Little Debbie Cake donuts are vegan. You can find those in some places. I live in Ohio and have personally never found these donuts. I used to work for BP was first bummed out by the bon appetit donuts because I was so close to being able to eat them but found they had mono and diglicerides (very frequently made of animal fat.) One day I was bored and called the company to inquire about the ingredients and they informed me that their mono and diglicerides are vegetable based. The flour or or sugar may be bleached, and therefore it may not be 100% vegan. It depends on if you are a vegan who eats white goods. Honestly, I can’t imagine they are any more or less bleached then the Little Debbie Variety. PETA’s motto, however, is that not harming animals is more important than personal purity, and therefore we should eat and support products that are 99% vegan, otherwise we are telling companies that there is no room for such products.
