Does archeology prove the bible to be historically accurate or not? Christians say yes, the rest say no?
I appreciate your sincerity and searching for truth. It is very possible that much of the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) was handed down from generation to generation orally, and nothing was written down for a very long time, making it very possible for some historical inaccuracies. My opinion is that there is much in archeology that proves many historical events in the Bible (I would suggest you get a copy of the Archeological Bible; not sure of the publisher).
