For BCBSMA, we are currently accepting NPIs on all transactions, and effective March 1, 2008, we began accepting NPI only – without the legacy number – on interactive transactions (including eligibility, claim status, referral/authorization submission/inquiry). Please contact the other payers directly for their NPI submission rules.
