Does breast-feeding really hurt?
i breast fed all my 5 babies and it never hurt only when i had mastitis a couple of times and not for long. It generally only hurts if your aren’t doing it right ie baby isn’t latched on properly. Don’t dismiss breastfeeding by other peoples comments as we are all different and cope with things differently. It is best for your baby so you give them the colostrum for their immune system to get strong and a nice experience for bonding. You can always stop if you feel necessary but if you never gave yourself the chance and your baby that experience well…??? you may well regret it. Age can have to do with coping with things ie maturity level for the person who posted “what does age have to do with it.
