Does Bridgeport have a High Weed/Grass Ordinance?
Yes. The ordinance defines tall or high grass or weeds as over 12 inches in height. It shall be considered a public nuisance for any person, business or owner or tenant of any tract of land to permit the growth of weeds, grasses or other objectionable vegetation on such land or premises. Anyone allowing the aforementioned weeds and grasses to accumulate or grow to seed shall be subject to a fine of not more then $300.00 if convicted.
