There are many problems in the world but the major challenges that the world is facing today are physical and mental illnesses such as heart attacks, depression, frustration and so on. Buddha taught about balanced diet, fasting, yoga exercise for the prevention of physical illnesses. He taught meditation on compassion and sense of responsibility, sense of caring and sharing, developing harmony to overcome loneliness which is the main cause of mental illnesses, depression or unhappiness. There are still many more practices taught by the Buddha to overcome many different challenges in life.
