This blatant waste could harm the environment more in the long run. I have no problem with buying green products when you really need them. I just don’t see how throwing something away and then replacing it with a green product is an environmentally sound concept. My folks always taught me to get full use out of everything before discarding, re-purposing or recycling it. Waste is never a go green concept.
