Changing the tapes won’t disturb the session. Changing the tape is a bit like jogging in place at a stoplight while you wait for it to change – a little inconvenient, but it won’t keep you from getting the benefits of the running. Still, it’s best if you don’t have to get up and walk across the room to change the tape, so try to set up your equipment so that it won’t take more than just a few seconds to change from Dive to Immersion. A 120 minute tape is too long for most battery powered units to play reliably. In fact, most tape manufacturers have stopped making 120 minute tapes for that reason. If we put The Dive and Immersion on one 120 minute tape, or back-to-back on opposite sides of the same tape, it would be impossible to listen to just the Dive (which we ask you to do for the first 14 days and some people do because on some days they run out of time) without re-winding. But more important, many people listen to The Dive followed by an hour (or even an hour and a half) of Immers
