Does Cholestin contain any chemical residues from solvents?
A. Since Cholestin is not an extract, no solvents are used in the manufacturing process. The red yeast is fermented on a partially-cooked premium grade rice medium. The controlled growth is stopped and the entire mix is dried and ground to make the Cholestin. It is not an extract, so when the powder is analysed, it contains the constituents of rice. If any chemicals are used they are designed only to control pH and other minor quality factors.
