At WCC, we observe open communionall people who long to know Jesus, regardless of age, are invited to the table to share the sacrament. On Communion Sundays, Church School is held for children in JK through 2nd grade. Children in third grade and above are invited to stay in worship and celebrate communion with their families. Together we sing and pray and learn about the gift of Jesus symbolized by the broken bread and poured juice. While we encourage even the youngest children to participate if they desire, each family must decide for itself.
