Does Clomid help in getting pregnant?
Yes! as long as your problem with not getting pregnant is related to not ovulating, as clomid helps your body ovulate. I normally don’t ovulate or even have a cycle for that matter so when I wanted to get pregnant my Dr had me take prometruim to first get my cycle started and then to take clomid-they then did some blood tests to see if i had ovulated. the first month i didn’t ovulate when they expected me too. but, something happened because i actually got my cycle within 2 weeks. they had me take another round of clomid(2 tabs a day for 5 days that time-before it was 1 tab/day for 5 days). and then they did their blood tests and that month I had ovulated in the time frame they expected.(i already figured out that I had anyway ’cause I got an ovulation test kit and it indicated such on the third day I tested) well, anyway once I “laid that egg” I got pregnant!(with my hubby’s assistance of course).
