Does Copa Airlines refund purchases using more than one form of payment?
Check Copa Airlines issues refund checks only if the original form of payment was by check. The ticket will be refunded by check or in cash a minimum of 30 days after the ticket was issued. If the passenger prefers that the refund be issued by check, Copa Airlines will provide this payment to the passenger within 10 business days. In the event that the ticket was issued 30 days or more in advance of the refund request, the refund can be issued immediately in cash, but only if the amount to be refunded per passenger name record (PNR) is less than USD $5,000. Cash Copa Airlines can issue the refund in cash, but only if the original form of payment was in cash. The maximum amount that will be refunded per passenger name record (PNR) in cash is USD $5,000; as a result, if the amount to be refunded per passenger name record is greater than this amount, the refund will be issued by check.
