No, Biomedical Engineering is strictly a minor. However there are undergraduate programs in the engineering college that tend to attract students who are also interested in biomedical engineering. Many students major in Biological Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Students majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Engineering Physics and Electrical and Computer Engineering have also shown interest in biomedical engineering.
