Yes. You can use Oracle Discoverer Administrator against a non-Oracle data source using Oracle9i Heterogeneous Services components – Oracle Transparent Gateways and Generic Connectivity. For more information on heterogeneous connectivity, refer to the database manual “Oracle9i Heterogeneous Connectivity Administrator’s Guide Release2 (9.2)”—Part Number A96544-01. Please note, connectivity from Discoverer to a non-Oracle database using ODBC is no longer allowed.
