Does DJJ provide programs (e.g. boot camps) for troublesome youths?
The California Youth Authority is designed to deal with juvenile criminal offenders who have been committed by the court. Our facilities are not designed to deal with “truant or troublesome” juveniles. If you are having trouble with your child or if you need assistance in dealing with a difficult juvenile you should contact your county social welfare office, probation department or local school district.
