Does DurAlt® FC work with Bio-Diesel?
Yes. DurAlt® Fuel Conditioner has been beneficially used in conventional diesel fuel for many years. DurAlt Technology accelerates the combustion process and significantly reduces the smoke and particulate emissions from diesel engines. It has shown to improve cetane number by about 2 points, reduce engine noise and improves fuel economy by an average of 8 to 12 percent. Based on the experience in diesel fuel, DurAlt® can be safely used with Bio-diesel and Bio-diesel blends. Since Bio-diesel has similar properties to conventional diesel, DurAlt® is expected to provide similar benefits. In some cases there may be a synergistic effect and greater benefits may accrue by using DurAlt® with Bio-diesel. The most important benefits are discussed below.
