Does eating more eggs and dairy cause more environmental damage than eating meat?

I would say technically, yes. Becuase in the same reason that all the vegetables fed to animals raised for slaughter can be used to feed humans, vegetables fed to dairy cows and egg-laying hens AND veal (which is directly linked to the dairy industry) could go to feeding humans. But by that doesn’t mean that just because you’re still eating eggs and dairy doesn’t mean you’re doing nothing. Just because you’re not ready, or don’t want, to go vegan doesn’t mean that you should just start eating meat because it’s hopeless. We all do what we can. There are tons of meat replacements, and if you want to start going away from dairy and eggs, there are plenty of great replacements for those too. Good luck with whatever diet you choose, and know that any step towards veganism is positive, and no one can criticize you just because you can’t do everything.
