Does e&c engineering have scope in aviation ?

I dual majored in Elec/Comp Engineering and it has a scope basically anywhere. In aviation, for instance: The electronics and wiring of all of the cockpit components is done by electrical engineers. Even ensuring a good ground connection for the entire plane to prevent static buildup which would attract lightning is done by a EE. PCB design requires both EE’s and CE’s to bring up a working solution. Nowadays, nearly everything requires at least some electrical circuitry of some kind and some sort of embedded software. As an ECE, you can choose a career path on either side of this equation in a vast amount of markets from consumer to government contracted, including aviation development.
