I recommend that the wisdom teeth are removed before the braces are taken off. You are better off avoiding problems with them.

Usually after you have your braces removed the dentist wants the wisdom teeth to be removed to prevent any possible future crowding. Otherwise-NO- not everyone needs their wisdom teeth out.

It’s best that you get the wisdom tooth extracted. Of course, you should consult your dentist/orthodontist. If the wisdom tooth is coming-in at any sort of an angle, it would shift your teeth, again. And the braces would have done you no good.
