Yes eyesight does matter if you want to become a police officer! After you have completed the assessment centre you will be required to have your eyesight tested. Like every stage of the recruitment process if you fail the eyesight test you will be rejected. You may be asked to go to an optician to have your eyes tested if there are any conerns.
