Does FLO-WELL Casing Plunger Lift System operate in multiple zone completions?
Yes, very effectively. The bottom hole stop is placed above the lowermost set of perforations. Gas lifting capability is dependant on the inflow characteristics of the lowermost formation. Over time, the bottom hole stop may be moved up hole to complete shallower formations. The Medicine Hat example in our Information Brochure (contact us for access) is an excellent example of the tool application with zones producing 60 metres apart. Factors to consider in multi-zone applications are the inflow rates and pressure differentials from each zone. The bottom hole stop is set and the tool is cycled according to the pressure and fluid contribution from each zone so that the combined fluid/gas rates are optimized and stabilized.
