Does flushing the toilet heat up the shower water?

I’ve seen in a lot of movies and cartoons, that flushing the toilet makes the shower water hot, and harms the “victim”. I wonder if this is really true. You could test if it makes only a minor temperature difference, and then if it actually harms the person like in movies and cartoons.
