Does garlic repel mosquitos?
Garlic has a reputation for deterring mosquitos. Coating the skin with a garlic-based jelly has been shown to effectively repel mosquitoes and there is anecdotal evidence that eating garlic might also be effective. However, given the lack of scientific evidence available and the severity of the threats mosquitoes can pose, an additional means of control is recommended.
