By law, the TPMS alert activates only when tire pressure is 25% low. By that time, you are significantly affecting safety, performance and fuel economy. Car and tire manufacturers recommend that tire pressure be checked at least every 30 days. Please check your owner’s manual or vehicle placard for proper pressure and check tires while cold.
