Does Hovercraft racing present a collision risk?
Airboating Magazine has had stories about hovercraft and airboat racing in numerous issues. We have personally attended several hovercraft races in the U.S. and they were very well organized and safety was always a high priority that included craft inspections, safety gear for racers, proper course layout and racing good conduct from participants. Hovercraft racing was fun to watch and something for all ages. Area high schools and engineering colleges have built and then raced hovercraft.
