Does Hydrogen Peroxide Kill The Cold Sore Virus?
One of the most popular and safer cold sore treatments is the application of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) onto the blistered area. This method known as herpes hydrogenation has been suggested to have the ability to kill cold sore virus. Once highly oxygenated, the herpes virus reportedly loses its strength to live so that they eventually die. These are usually employed in combination with other methods.
