Yes! For retrofit of IHT to an existing building, where there is no access to lay a ThermalBank beneath the foundations, ICAX uses boreholes. ICAX has also used boreholes on new buildings where the main contractor requested that the ThermalBank should be outside the proposed building envelope. Boreholes would also be used where land space is limited.
