Does it hurt if my pet licks the area after I’ve applied K-9 Companion?

No. The small amount of spray licked from a wound isn’t harmful to your pet. And because K-9 Companion is transdermal, as long as the spray is allowed to sit for a few seconds before it is licked, it will quickly soak in to the skin enough to allow it to work, even if your pet licks off any remaining spray.
