Does Ithaca prepare students for law school?
If you’re interested in pursuing law, Ithaca can help: our academic flexibility allows you to meet all law school requirements while pursuing your choice of majors. Your academic adviser will help you develop an individualized program that optimizes the training you’ll need; for additional help you can contact our specialized prelaw adviser any time. Our School of Humanities and Sciences offers a Prelaw Option, and our Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies offers a program culminating in a B.A. in Legal Studies. Plus, our active Pre-Law Society schedules opportunities for you to meet with law school admission counselors, law faculty, and practicing attorneys. And when it comes time to apply to law schools, the Office of Career Services will assist you with selection and forms.
